this is a calf they were going to put down almost 2 weeks ago well I took her in, she had a huge cut about 1" deep and 6" long, as well as one on the front of the hoof, they were extremely pussy, swollen, and I would say gangerine had set in, I cold washed it everyday and put COLD PRESSED CASTEROIL poultice in it for 5 days, then I started giving her a small amount of butte, and cold washing it and wrapping in UNPASTURIZED HONEY and after 3 days!! nice pink flesh, no puss, no smell, and minimal swelling, she is putting pressure on it and even pivoting picture is at 5 days after started treating with poultice, so I would say this was at its worse, after 3 days of the honey its incredible, also want to add this cut was to the bone and was worried about loosing the hoof

Unpasteurized honey is amazing - Andi once told a most incredible story of a mare she saved from being put down after a severe wire injury, the honey did a most incredible job of helping the mare heal up! (maybe she will share here again, it was awesome!)
